On the 26th January 2025, Commander Dan participated in Hi-Tacan madness, an event set up by the Spanish Division to test fighter pilots IFR skills. This was our first event of 2025 so we were very much looking forward to getting involved with IVAO special Operations once again. We set off from EGXC RAF Coningsby and took a fairly direct route down through the West of France. Before entering the Spanish FIR we received a friendly welcome from a Spanish Eurofighter Typhoon, Callsign CHICO11 who guided us into LETO Torrejon Air Force Base in Madid. En-route to LESA Salamanca On descent into LEGT Getafe. Night time arrival back into LETO. Overall, it was hard work but very rewarding. The level of controlling we received was exceptional and we'd like to thank the Spanish Division for a great experience.
